Racquel Oden is HSBC’s US Head of International Wealth, Asset Management and Private Banking, HSBC US, leading the bank’s wealth management, private banking, premier banking, and asset management businesses across the US. She oversees the bank’s US strategy to serve globally connected investors, bringing a client-first philosophy and a track record of building high-performing businesses. 
 
With more than 25 years in financial services, she has built and scaled high-performing teams at leading institutions. Prior to HSBC, she was a Managing Director at JP Morgan Chase and held leadership roles, including the Head of Network Expansion overseeing the Consumer Bank’s growth strategy and branch network in 25 states. Previously, she was an executive member at Merrill Lynch, where she held several leadership roles as Managing Director. She also spent more than a decade at UBS, including as Managing Director Head of Global Product Internal Sales, Managing Director of Client Experience for Banking, and Head of Merger & Acquisition Integration. She began her career at Morgan Stanley. 
 
Racquel is a corporate Board member for the National Life Group. A committed philanthropist, she serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and sits on the boards of the Apollo Theater and the New York City Police Foundation. 
 
Racquel is a recipient of the National Urban League’s 2026 Women of Power award and an honoree of the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. 2026 Power 50 Women of Influence. She has been recognized among the most influential leaders in business, including Barron's Most Influential Women in Finance (2026), American Banker's Most Powerful Women in Banking (2025), and Forbes' 50 Over 50 (2025). 
 
She holds a B.A. from James Madison University and an M.B.A. from Hampton University. Racquel lives in Long Island, NY with her husband and daughter.
